- Young, John (1773-1837)
- The author of the "Agricola Letters" the first of which appeared in the Acadian Recorder on July 25th, 1818, the last on December 26th. As a result of the suggestions in respect to better farming practices, agricultural societies were organized throughout Nova Scotia.
- Young, William (1799-1887):
- Premier from 1854 to 1857. (Under Construction.)
